Dr. Shreya Prabhu is a clinical assistant professor with the Department of Ophthalmology at the Ross Eye Institute, University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine. She graduated medical school at Boston University and then went on to complete residency at the renowned Kellogg Eye Center at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan where she also served as a chief resident. She also completed fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus at the Kellogg Eye Center and continued there as faculty, responsible for training future ophthalmologists in clinical care and surgery.

Dr. Prabhu specializes in providing comprehensive care for childhood ocular problems, including amblyopia, “lazy eye”, crossing and wandering of eyes (strabismus), congenital and developmental ocular problems, and eye issues related to pediatric systemic disease. She has a particular interest in complex strabismus for children and adults, including reoperation, thyroid related ocular misalignment, and paralytic strabismus.
